The Supporter Engagement team handle everything from answering the phone to managing our gifts in Wills programme. World Alzheimer’s Month

Will you commit to defeat dementia? 21 September marks World Alzheimer’s Day, the perfect time to reflect on how far we’ve come in our battle to defeat dementia – and also what we still need to achieve. Your generous support funds the best scientific research and, though you may not realise, it also inspires us. […]

These were donated by kind supporters (anonymously) and it was up to me to turn their donations into ‘research hours’. The small bits of jewellery included some […]

Hog roast and a Harley

Getting out from behind my desk to go and talk first hand about Alzheimer’s Research UK is a privilege I enjoy as part of my job, but the most amazing part is the people I meet through our work. One Saturday in the summer, I drove through the picturesque countryside near Bedford to the small […]

Is this fundraising call genuine?

In these days of scams and nuisance calls, it’s important that the genuine calls from Alzheimer’s Research UK and other charities you support are easy to identify. Here’s our top ten tips for checking that a […]
